2 and growing!

Kory is at that "asking a lot of questions" stage of his life. What's this, what's that, what momma doing, what daddy doing, who is that, what was that.....all part of growing his mind and getting older. He loves to ride his bike and quad around the block and is getting real comfortable in the pool.

Kory enjoys the water and being on the boat

2 years old and counting!

Kory is now 2 years old and there is no looking back now. He is very inquisitive, loves to be outside with his Daddy and is just a busy body wherever we go. Although he tells us when he needs to go potty (or is actually in the middle of it) we are still in diapers. We spend as much time outside either in the yard or walking around the neighborhood as Kory either rides his bike, quad or scooter around the block, the trips take a long time but he is getting stronger by the day.

Some recent photos

Here are a few recent photo's of Kory, he is getting bigger each day mentally and physically. He likes to spend time in the yard with me and helps me pull "weeds" as he throws them in the bucket that I carry around the yard. He loves Cherry slurpee's just like his dad and loves to push his mower around and ride his tricycle.

Our little boy is growing up

The past 6 weeks have gone by pretty fast, it's hard to imagine in just over 2 months Kory will be 2 years old! He loves to play with all of his rubber and plastic balls, he kicks them, throws them and swings a bat at them any chance he gets. He loves to drink his "ice wata" (ice water) as he calls it and is into just about everything he can get his hands on. He is talking more and more each day and points out stuff while we are driving like an airplane, a truck passing us, the windmill in the hills on our way to the river or desert. He has become such a little helper too, anywhere that we go or do he wants to join in. He helps me in the yard, although he just pulls anything green out of the ground and throws it in the bucket. (He has no idea what's in store for him when he gets older) If I wash the car he has to hold the hose and help rinse them off. He loves to climb on stuff so it looks like a backyard playset will be the next thing we need to get for the yard to let him burn off some energy, we try to take daily walks around the block with him. They start out great but he is soon wandering into every yard on the block to investigate or say "Hi" to anyone he see's outside.
