Cuyamaca Mountains

We took Kory up to Paso Picacho Park in the Cuyamaca Mountains for a weekend of camping and hiking. He liked walking in his jogger and riding his quad all over camp and was very happy collecting pine cones. We took a short trip up to the lake so that Kory could feed the Geese and Ducks. I found out Geese are pretty mean suckers as one kept pecking away at my calf, socks and feet. Overall a fun weekend and we look forward to doing it again in the spring. Kory is growing leaps and bounds and is using his words to tell us what he wants. This is also where he is really starting to try to assert himself a lot. I ask him at night do you want to go to bed? He looks at me and says "NO, NO" and he shakes his head from side to side. It's fun to see his daily changes as he grows into a little boy. I do know one thing his little feet are getting big, we had to get a new pair of size 5 shoes for him. He kept tugging at his other shoes and taking one off all the time, so we checked how big it was versus his foot and low and behold it was way to tight in there...who knew?

Halloween at Casa de Savage

Kory had a great evening, he played with all the local neighbors kids and walked to a few of the houses saying "tick o twee" he struggled with the idea that you get more at each house and tried to eat at each stop. We let him stay up a little longer than normal and he got to work over a few lollipops.
